This is a real conversation between a Budget Van Lines employee and a satisfied customer. With the consent of our customers, we are now able to share their smooth moving experiences with you. This customer moved from New York to South Carolina in June 2012. Below is a transcription of the conversation.
Lee: Budget Van Lines, this is Lee. How may I help you?
Customer: Hello Lee, this is Michael, uh, I just wanted to say thank you. Everything went smooth, everything was on point.
Lee: The woman that just transferred you over mentioned that you had some good things to say, that you had a good experience.
Customer: Yes, yes. Uh, I had a couple of tight glitches on my end. What happened was I live in a cooperative building, and they got certain bylaws. They don't want you to move out on the weekends, da da da, this and that. So we danced around that. I made the reservations Thursday-ish, last Thursday or Friday. And he said, "Well I'll come tomorrow. " The building was having a picnic outside the apartment building and I said oh no we can't do this... But he worked with me and I said I'm sorry guys we can't do this, house rules you know.
Lee: Right, right.
Customer: He did it in record time. There was a truck I could've been on if we had loaded up on that Saturday or Sunday. But they loaded up on Monday and it got here on Tuesday.
Lee: That's good, have they delivered yet?
Customer: Yeah, everything is cool, I'm good.
Lee: Oh great, great. Well yeah, thank you so much for the kind words. We love the feedback. We're always trying to provide a better service as time goes on.
Customer: And like I said, everything was smooth, everything was on point. What I try to do, I try to have everything boxed at the front door so all these guys can just snatch and go.
Lee: Right, right.
Customer: And everything went so much smoother, not that they weren't efficient, but, you know, it's just to help out.
Lee: Yeah, and that's much appreciated on their end. The customer isn't expected to help out but if you do go that extra mile, you know, pack up some boxes, have it ready, you know, they'll definitely treat you with a better service or it's seen as a tip kind of. All right good to hear, anything else I can do for you?
Customer: No, that's it.
Lee: All right sounds great. Well, I'm glad you enjoyed the move and have a great weekend.
Customer: Thank you, you do the same. Take care.
